It is pretty simple. Grab a light sweater, a blanket, and a picnic basket and head out!  Saunter into the kitchen, grab a few bottles of water and other beverages, plenty of fruit, some apple slices, blackberries, and a peach or two, avocado sandwiches and a bag of pretzels. Simple. Delicious. Refreshing.

For your little ones, throw in some goldfish, orange slices, and bite-size cookies. That will definitely keep the kids content. An excellent thing because a smiling toddler is wonderful for all.

Pile in some freshly baked brownies from the night before, and you and the family have a perfect meal for a lovely fall picnic lunch on an afternoon at the park.
